1. Represent House Avarasai positively. When you wear our House Avarasai tag and our tabard you represent each and every one of us; we will be judged according to your actions and will hold you accountable for any negative impressions you might make.

2. Respect your officers. Leadership roles are filled by only those most appropriate for the position. You can rest assured that our officers are working hard to make the House Avarasai experience as enjoyable as possible. While reasons for some decisions may not be apparent right away it is important that they are respected. If you need to voice an opinion on it, do so in private to the officer who made it or to Thoraen. You are not free to publically contest any officer or GM decision at any point, and you will be immediately removed should you decide to do so.

3. Please understand that while we love and enjoy leading House Avarasai, that we also play this game for fun ourselves. This means that we are not going to be inclined to drop what we are doing at a moment's notice to cater to a person's whims, whether it be for roleplay, gear raids, battlegrounds, or even just to help with issues that are easily solvable with google.

4. Failure to maintain an acceptable level of activity will result in removal. We ask that if you will be gone for more than a week to let us know in advance. After ten consecutive days of inactivity you will be removed. This includes alts.

5. If an officer tells you to do something on an OOC basis, do it immediately. Likewise, if you are told to stop doing something, stop doing said thing immediately. Refusal to do so may result in permanent removal at the discretion of the officer, especially if any other rule is being broken during the infraction.

6. Maintain a clear separation of IC and OOC. IC actions will yield IC consequences. On this note – if your character is so irresponsible, so unlikeable, or so poor a fit that they are removed from the guard it is not a reflection of our own OOC opinions of you as a person.

7. Cheats, exploits, hacks, and other TOS violations will result in immediate removal.

8. Anything against US law will result in immediate removal as well as being reported to authorities. Think twice before sending those nudes – the recipient might be underage. Likewise, those threats uttered in guild chat will most certainly be taken seriously.

9. Respect your fellow members. We will not tolerate bigoted comments, insults, defamation or harassment. We demand that you have an open mind. We have people from all walks of life – several age groups, gay and lesbian members, different races and backgrounds, people with disabilities (as well as family with the same) . If you have any problems with the people that House Avarasai is composed of it's best
that you quietly leave.

10. Do not lie. This can not be stressed enough. If you lie about your age, your background, your family, your friends, your occupation, or anything else you're both insulting our intelligence and disrespecting us. We will remove liars immediately as they can not be trusted.

11. Backstabbing, mutiny, blackmail, and other underhanded means of destroying guild morale are not tolerated.

12. ERP must be kept to private means. In addition please be aware of who you are doing what with, OOCly. If it is brought to our attention that you are ERPing with a minor, we will in turn bring it to your attention. If you continue to do so, you will be removed without hesitation and reported to applicable authorities.

13. Maintain a level of independence. We are making it clear here: House Avarasai, its guild master, and its officers are not there to babysit, nor are they there to cater to individual storylines. We promise you that you will get out of this guild what you put in; If you make an effort to make friends ICly and OOCly, approach people for roleplay and participate in guild events you will rarely be hurting for company. If you sit quietly in chat waiting for someone to give you attention, it will not happen.
